We were honored to be joined by The Very Reverend Cynthia Briggs Kittredge from Austin, TX, at this year's Summer Quest. She led us in a study of two remarkable women in Mark 5 - the woman of great faith and the young daughter of a synagogue leader. Rev. Kittredge also shared some of the poetry she has written, based on the book of Mark. Our Sunday morning Eucharist service was led by the Rev. Kittredge.

Quiet Day, Friday, May 29th.
Karen Meites and Janice Eberhard came from the Oklahoma City area to lead our Quiet Day activities. Karen began the day by guiding us through calming activities. Then after lunch, Janice taught us about "praying in color," with hands-on practice. They closed with a short session on the Lectio Divina prayer method. We were also honored to have Debbie Butcher join us. She is the Province VII representative to the National ECW Board.

Receptions and Meal Time
Each evening we gathered for a reception in Keller, giving us time for visiting and relaxing prior to our evening meal. Meals were prepared by Chef Michael Campbell and served by the great team at Camp Mitchell.

Worship
Beginning with Compline on Friday evening, we gathered in the Chapel of Transfiguration and worshiped together. We were lead by The Rev. Sara Milford and The Very Rev. Kittredge, celebrated the Eucharist, enjoyed singing and music, and times of prayer and reflection.
Fellowship
One of the best parts of Summer Quest is getting to know your sisters in Christ! We had plenty of time to visit, play games, talk, and become better acquainted with new friends from across the state.
