Fall Gathering: "Hope as a Spiritual Practice" will be hosted by St. Francis Episcopal Church in Heber Springs. The speaker will be the Rev. Teri Daily. 

As a people who look to the time when God’s reign will come in all its fullness, hope is an essential part of the Christian life. Paul even includes it in the great trifecta – faith, hope and love. But in a world where anxiety and loneliness are so prevalent, how do we live as people of hope? In our time together, we will explore such questions as: What is the difference between hope and optimism? What are the characteristics of Christian hope? When we are in despair and cannot feel hope, can we still hold a place for it? Are there practices that strengthen our capacity for hope?

Registration Fee: $35 includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday, October 17. After October 1, registration will increase to $40. There will be no refunds for cancellation after October 5. Please be sure to write "Fall Gathering 2026" in the memo line of your check. 

Lodging: We have a block of rooms at Red Apple Inn in Heber Springs for $155/nt + tax. They will be held until Oct 1.
