Our annual state-wide meeting is a time for fellowship, fun, and attending to the business of ECW.
Fall Gathering: "Cultivating and Letting Go" will be hosted by St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newport.
Lisa Bortner, the President of the National Episcopal Church Women Board, is our featured speaker for Fall Gathering. Lisa will talk about what we cultivate in our lives and what we may need to let go. Just last July at Triennial, Lisa was elected and she spoke to the women there about her vision for ECW: preparing, acquiring, developing, nuturing and growing ECW. At the same time, her theme suggested releasing, freeing and allowing because both cultivating and letting go are necessary to build and share ECW but cultivating and letting go are also crucial in order to truly build peace in ourselves and the world. All who seek peace and understanding, both inwardly and outwardly will enjoy what Lisa has in store for us.
